More 3D fossils

We've recently uploaded some more 3D models of our specimens to the Sketchfab site. They were produced after another session of scanning by the helpful folk at British Geological Survey with their Artec Spider scanner. We'd only set out to produce 100 models but we've got a bit carried away as its hard to narrow it down to just 100 when there are so many nice things to image. So we'll probably be sharing a few more before the end of the project!

Among those we've just worked on are a lovely juvenile mammoth jaw (part of the Shropshire Mammoth find) as well as important specimens from the Triassic which include reptile footprints and Rhynchosaur fossils. Many of these are currently on display in Shrewsbury museum, and well worth a closer look.

We've also recently set up an Instagram account to share a few more pictures and to give you an idea of the things we are working on during the project.
